The Pahang palace has denied the existence of any personal social media accounts belonging to Sultan Abdullah, warning the public about fake profiles on platforms like Facebook and TikTok

KUANTAN: The Pahang Royal Palace has issued a firm denial regarding the existence of any personal social media accounts belonging to the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the palace clarified that the monarch does not possess any such accounts.

It warned that numerous irresponsible parties have created fake profiles using His Majesty’s name and image to deceive the public.

The statement also confirmed that fake accounts purportedly belonging to the Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, exist on platforms like Facebook and TikTok.

The palace stressed that all such accounts are fraudulent and advised the public not to trust any links or information shared through them.

People were urged to report any suspicious invitations or content received from these accounts to the authorities immediately.

According to the palace, all official royal activities and addresses are broadcast exclusively through the Pahang Royal Palace’s own social media platforms.

It confirmed that the palace operates only one official Facebook account, which currently has approximately 772,000 followers.
