
- Two men, Nematollah Shahsavani and Alireza Farasati, have been charged under the National Security Act for allegedly assisting a foreign intelligence service linked to Iran.
- The charges relate to alleged surveillance of locations and individuals connected to the Jewish community in London.
- Shahsavani, 40, is a dual Iranian and British national, while Farasati, 22, is an Iranian national.
- The alleged offences occurred between 9 July 2025 and 15 August 2025, with the men arrested on 6 March.
- They are scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, while two other men arrested in the investigation have been released without charge.
