  • Manchester United have permanently sold Antony to Real Betis and loaned Rasmus Hojlund to Napoli for the season, as part of Ruben Amorim's clearout of unwanted attackers.
  • United incurred a loss of over £60m on Antony, their second most expensive signing, with the transfer to Real Betis valued at €25m (£21.6m) plus a 50 per cent sell-on clause.
  • The club will receive a €6m (£5.2m) loan fee for Hojlund, with Napoli having a conditional obligation to buy him for an additional €44m (£38m).
  • These sales, alongside the £40m received for Alejandro Garnacho, could see United raise £100m in a week, despite still facing a substantial loss on Hojlund's initial £64m transfer fee.
  • Both Antony and Hojlund had struggled for form and goals at United, with Antony scoring only twice in 59 top-flight appearances after his initial three goals, and Hojlund experiencing a 21-game goal drought last season.
