KENINGAU: A 30-year-old Pakistani trader, Abdul Hafiz, was found buried near Kampung Kitung, Jalan Keningau, on Tuesday after he was believed to have been murdered.
Police discovered the victim’s belongings, motorcycle, and a parang near freshly-dug soil close to a plantation worker’s house.
Forensic teams later exhumed the body, which bore head and ear injuries.
The case is under investigation, and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
