MANILA, Philippines--The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced the grounding of several flights on Thursday as a result of Tropical Storm Basyang.
As of February 5, 2026, the following PAL Express flights for the Siargao route have been cancelled:
2P2351/2P2352 (Cebu-Siargao-Cebu)
2P2382/2P2383 (Cebu-Siargao-Cebu)
2P2875/2P2375 (Clark-Siargao-Cebu)
2P2973/2P2974 (Manila-Siargao-Manila)
The aviation regulator said that it is awaiting reports from other local airlines regarding flight cancelations.
It urged travelers to monitor weather bulletins and coordinate directly with their respective carriers for real-time updates on flight schedules or rebooking procedures.
