PHILIPPINE Airlines (PAL) has expanded a codesharing partnership with Qatar Airways by enhancing network connectivity and loyalty benefits for passengers of both carriers.
Beginning June 1, 2026, PAL will place its "PR" airline designator code on Qatar Airways flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao to Doha and beyond, connecting passengers to more than 20 major European cities including Paris, Rome, and Frankfurt via Hamad International Airport.
In turn, Qatar Airways will place its "QR" code on PAL domestic flights. This will enable travelers arriving in Manila and Cebu to enjoy seamless connectivity to popular local leisure destinations such as Caticlan (Boracay) and Puerto Princesa.
Complementing the codeshare expansion, Qatar Airways’ loyalty program, Privilege Club, partnered with Philippine Airlines’ Mabuhay Miles to extend loyalty benefits to members of both programs.
It will be Privilege Club’s 26th airline partnership and increases the loyalty program’s footprint in Southeast Asia.
Mabuhay Miles members, meanwhile, can also collect and spend miles when flying across Qatar Airways’ global network. TMT
