MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. approved the proposed 2027 National Expenditure Program (NEP), Malacañang said Friday.
Acting Presidential Communications Secretary Dave Gomez said the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) presented the 2027 NEP during a Cabinet meeting presided over by the President in Malacañang.
"The Cabinet discussed and approved the 2027 National Expenditure Program as presented by the DBM," Gomez said in a statement.
"On the total amount and other details, we do not want to pre-empt the President's budget submission to Congress," he added.
