Flamengo midfielder Matheus Franca appears to be closing in on a move to the Premier League.
Crystal Palace appear to be the team that have won the race to sign the 19-year-old Brazilian.
Per The Mail, the London club will come close to Flamengo's initial 25 million asking price.
The deal is likely to include significant add-ons, with Palace paying 17 million guaranteed.
The rest of the sum will be made up of add-ons, while one of the terms references Franca one day winning the Ballon d'Or.
Chelsea were also in the hunt for Franca, but appear to be focusing on Moises Caicedo.
