  • The young patients, suffering from severe injuries, amputations, or serious congenital diseases, landed at Rome Ciampino airport on Wednesday.
  • Footage showed the patients being wheeled from the plane on stretchers to waiting ambulances for transport to hospitals.
  • Italy's foreign minister, Antonio Tajani, stressed the importance of supporting the Palestinian people and treating those in need, with 31 children among the 114 evacuees received by Italy.
