NABAWAN: A palm kernel processing machine of the Pandewan Palm Oil factory was caught fire on Tuesday morning.
The District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 8am and nine members led by Operations Commander, Gustin Asin rushed to the scene about 21km from the station with machinery.
The firemen used water sources from the engine tank and the nearby fire hydrant during the extinguishing operation.
No casualties were reported and the operation was ended at 12.31pm.
