Manchester City midfielder Cole Palmer has defended his goal celebrations in England's U21 Euros final triumph against Spain.
City teammate Sergio Gomez slammed matchwinner Palmer after Spain's 1-0 defeat for the way he celebrated his winner.
But Palmer responded: "I was a bit frustrated because the game, well, the way they were going down and screaming and stuff.
So obviously when I scored, I just, the celebration might have been a bit over-the-top, but I'm just happy."
The pair are due to report back to City for preseason next week.
