- Speaking at a White House Cabinet meeting, Ms Bondi attributed the time jump to a routine nightly video reset at the Metropolitan Detention Center.
- She said that the video system is reset every night, resulting in the same minute being missing.
- The Department of Justice intends to publish additional footage to prove this regular reset process.
