KOTA KINABALU: The Pan Borneo Highway project in Sabah is progressing despite concerns over the contractor handling Package WP-35, which involves the upgrading of Jalan Kampung Nabutan to Ranau.
Sabah Works Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya (pic) said, on Friday, work has commenced in some areas, although progress is held up in others due to ongoing land acquisition issues.
He said a special committee under the Pan Borneo Sabah Project Steering Committee is monitoring progress monthly, focusing on land and utility matters.
