PAPAR: Papar MP Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali (pic), on Friday, urged the three politicians who amplified allegations of his involvement in a mineral corruption scandal to assist in identifying the individuals responsible for spreading the claims.

He called on Sabah Umno’s Jeffery Nor Mohamed, Warisan's Elopura assemblyman Calvin Chong, and former Papar MP Ahmad Hassan of Warisan to help trace the originators of the accusations circulating on social media.

The allegations, which he described as a political attack, were based on anonymous messages attributed to figures known only as 'investigative journalist (X7)' and 'Datuk Z'.

He said these claims gained traction on unofficial platforms, including fake social media accounts, without credible sources or supporting evidence.

Armizan, who is also the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister, stressed the need to expose those behind the accusations to pursue legal action for defamation.
