PAPAR: The district is poised to become a key tourism hub in Sabah, with major projects in the hospitality sector and the development of a new township.
Its Member of Parliament, Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, said that three significant tourism projects, including a luxury Intercontinental Hotel and Resort in Melinsung and a five-star resort in Kampung Suangon, are set to boost Papar's image and the state's tourism industry.

The Sabah government will also construct a cultural complex in Kinarut, scheduled for a groundbreaking ceremony on Jan 25, as a new attraction and a hub for rural economic products.
