Parents accused of taking turns fatally shooting son-in-law months after child abuse arrest

  • Jonathan McKinsey, a 40-year-old engineering director for New York Times Games, was fatally shot near a sports park in Dublin, California.
  • Witnesses reported seeing McKinsey's 77-year-old in-laws, Shouyong Zhang and Shili Chen, take turns shooting him in a busy parking lot on Saturday afternoon.
  • Police arrested Zhang and Chen nearby shortly after the attack, and both suspects remain in custody on suspicion of murder.
