
A family of three, including a toddler, has been killed in a head-on collision with a lorry in southern Germany, a police spokesman said on Saturday.
The three victims were aged 46, 44 and 2 years old, and were the father, mother and their young child, the spokesman in the Bavarian city of Rosenheim said.
The accident occurred in the morning on federal road B12 in the Upper Bavaria region, police said. The driver of the articulated lorry suffered shock in the collision but was not injured.
The family, who lived in Bavaria, had been on their way to the state capital Munich, police said. Earlier on Saturday morning, police had reported an accident with several injured people.
According to the police spokesman, the circumstances of the accident are currently being examined by an expert.
