Ex-Manchester United midfielder Paul Parker thinks they will crash out of the Champions League group stages.

Parker does not believe Erik Ten Hag's team have the quality to finish in the top two of their group.

United have lost to Bayern Munich and Galatasaray already in the competition, while they take on FC Copenhagen on Tuesday.

"I always remember FC Copenhagen from when they beat Manchester United," stated Parker, speaking to Danish outlet Tipsbladet.

"Given their last performances, even though they bottled it against Galatasaray, I think it will be a very, very tough game for Man United.

"I remember Galatasaray did beat Randers very narrowly and I was impressed by how a not that well known team could almost beat them and I'm sure FC Copenhagen would have won without the red card.

"I've said it this whole time that Man United should be very happy if they could finish second in this group but now I think they should be extremely satisfied with just playing in the Europa League after Christmas."
