A parrot has gone viral after appearing to explore the Bahamas in a miniature submarine.
Bebe’s owner took the bird scuba diving in a custom-built vessel designed for the underwater trip.
The video, which has amassed more than 4 million views, shows the white-winged parakeet drifting beneath the surface inside a hand-built mini submarine.
In a follow-up clip, the parrot’s owner addressed speculation surrounding the footage, confirming its authenticity and sharing the story behind the so-called ‘Bebesphere’, a custom plastic chamber fitted with a controlled oxygen system.
