Kota Kinabalu: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Wanita delegates throughout Sabah will convene at the 36th and 37th Congress this year for three days from June 27 to 29.

The 36th Congress on June 18 will hold the election of new Executive Women’s Movement by its delegates.

All posts are opened for contests and members are keen to contest for various posts as can be seen by nominations that have been submitted.

Both Maliaanah Ugau and Vicky Yee returned respectively as Wanita Chief and Deputy Chief of the Executive Committee uncontested.

Wanita Chief Maliaanah Ugau said the keen contests for various posts by members throughout Sabah in the executive level shows that PBS is still solid and relevant.

She reminded delegates to elect leaders of quality, integrity, team player and subscribed to party principles.

Malianah also called on members to continue playing an active role and equip themselves with knowledge and skills to stay relevant.

In this regard, she reminded the delegates to actively participate in the lectures meeting at Hakka Hall on June 27, 7pm, organised specially for the Congress delegates.

Publicity Chief of the Congress organising committee Vicky Yee said the registration of the delegates is at the PBS headquarters office at Dongonggon, Penampang on June 27 from 8am to 5pm.

The opening ceremony at Hakka Hall on June 28 will be officiated by President Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili.

Wanita Chief Datin Malianah Ugau will speak on several women issues in her policy speech.

Election of the Central Executive Committee for term 2022-2025 will be held on the same day at the same venue.

The 37th Congress will be held the following day on June 29 also at Hakka Hall at 9am.
