SANDAKAN: Parti Impian Sabah (PIS) Sekong candidate Abada Atalad expressed his determination to bring meaningful change by upgrading public facilities and voicing the concerns of Sabahans in the State Legislative Assembly.

“My main goal is to ensure the voices of Sabah’s indigenous people are heard and acknowledged, especially at the federal level,” he said.

The party manifesto focuses on addressing issues such as water supply, electricity, roads and village bridges.

“We want every Sabahan to feel that development and government services are distributed fairly.

“This manifesto is not just a list of promises, but a realistic action plan for the next five years,” he said.

Among the key proposals Abada aims to implement in Sekong are community development, which includes the construction of a community hall in Taman Mawar to serves as a centre for social, cultural and community activities.

Another key proposal would be education, with the provision of comprehensive educational assistance including support for both public and private higher education institutions.

The party plans to establish set up a special market in Kampung Bambangan for fishermen to sell their catch.

For housing, the development of Perumahan Mesra Impian Rakyat (PMIR) to provice comfortable and affordable housing for low and middle income families.
