The nomination day for the upcoming 15th general election (GE15) on last Saturday has been dramatic for the Titiwangsa constituency as one of the ‘suppose’ candidates for the election arrived 2 minutes late at the nomination center.

Habib Bourgiba Abdul Hamid, 53 is a partially blind man and has failed to register himself as an independent candidate at the nomination center, SMK Aminuddin Baki traffic jams due to the road being closed.

According to Free Malaysia Today (FMT), the officer in charge of the center, Firdzaus Said has met Habib at the entrance and apologized that he can't accept his nomination papers due to protocol set by the Election Commission (EC).

However, Habib disputed the decision made by Firdzaus and intended to make his case viral on social media.

"If I can't enter (the election), I will challenge this decision. Why must you sabotage me, this matter can be handled at their discretion. He had the power.", says Habib.

FMT also reported that a report has been lodged to investigate this issue.
