
BEAUFORT: Deputy Minister of Plantation and Commodities, Datuk Siti Aminah Aching, hoped youths will participate in knowledge-based programmes.
She urged young people to participate in such programme either at the village or district level, which will benefit them.
“These programmes will help SPM graduates to continue to be independent hopefully lead to job opportunities.”
She said this at the Beaufort Community College’s Corporate Social Responsibility Programme (CSR) together with the youths of Syukbah Masjid Nur Hidayah Kg. Klias Kecil here.

She also wants the Umno Youth and Puteri wings to join hands in organising such programmes to reach out to the youths in the district.
Among the CSR activities held were the installation of solar lights, IOT and AIR electrical technology courses, culinary cooking courses, 5s activities and hotel housekeeping, among others.
She hoped the activity will be expanded to other areas.
Siti Aminah congratulated the organising chairman Mohd Ihsan Ahmad Samsudin and the AJKs as the programme received encouraging response from young people in Kg Klias Kecil.
Director of Beaufort Community College, Julkifi Awang Besar, together with his students shared their knowledge with the youths at the Nur Hidayah Klias Mosque hall.
Also present were Parliament staff, Umno Youth Vice Nazrul Sofri, Head of Puteri Munira Sarrie and the Mosque committee.
