MANILA, Philippines—Some areas in Metro Manila, Batangas, Bulacan, Laguna, and Quezon will have power interruptions this week because of maintenance works, Meralco said on Sunday.
In the city of Manila, some parts of Pedro Gil St., starting from Gen. Luna St. in Paco, up to Singalong St. in Malate, will have no power on April 12-13 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. due to the replacement of electricity facilities.
Some areas in Ermita and Paco will also have short power interruptions on April 16 between 12:30 a.m. and 1 a.m. and also between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. because of line repair work along Zobel Roxas St. in Ermita.
In Muntinlupa City, some locations in the villages of Alabang, Cupang and Sucat will have no electricity on April 14-15 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. due to the replacement of electricity facilities along Manila South Road in Brgy. Alabang.
In Brgy. Wack-Wack Greenhills East, Mandaluyong City, some areas in Old Wack-Wack Road, starting from near Lee St. then up to Wack-Wack Road, will have no power on April 15 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. due to the replacement of electricity poles.
In Brgy. Pasong Tamo, Quezon City, some parts of Rose St.; some areas in Area 9 Veterans Village; some portions of Veterans Village; and the whole areas of Bonifacio Village and Wiltor Heights Subd. will have no power on April 15-16 between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. because of line reconstruction work and the replacement of electricity poles along Bonifacio Drive in Bonifacio Village.
In Batangas province, Batangas Paper Corp. in Brgy. San Felix, Sto. Tomas will have no electricity on April 19 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. due to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines’ preventive maintenance and testing work along the NGCP Bay-Calamba 69 kilovolt (kV) line.
In Hagonoy, Bulacan, some areas in Brgy. Iba and Brgy. Carillo will have power interruptions on April 15 between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. because of line reconstruction works.
In Laguna, the New Bay Cockpit Arena along Bay–Calauan Highway in Brgy. Dila will have no electricity on April 13 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. due to maintenance work inside the Meralco–Dila substation.
In Sta. Rosa City, some areas in the villages of Balibago, Dila and Dita will have no power on April 15-16 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of the conversion of electricity facilities along Old National Highway (Manila South Road) in Brgy. Dita.
In Tiaong, Quezon, some portions of Brgy. Talisay will have power interruption on April 16 between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. because of line reconstruction work.
