NABAWAN: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Nabawan Division Chief Datuk Abdul Ghani Mohamed Yassin said a party’s strength stems from its members’ and leaders’ unwavering loyalty, cooperation, tolerance, and shared understanding of their goals.
Speaking at the Nabawan Gagasan Rakyat Division Annual Meeting, recently, Ghani, who also serves as Nabawan Assemblyman, highlighted the evolving political landscape in Malaysia.
He noted that while parties like PAS and DAP maintain strong loyalty regardless of electoral outcomes, the overall political scene has shifted significantly from past eras when certain parties dominated across Sabah, Sarawak, and peninsular Malaysia.
Ghani stressed the importance of rallying behind a local party capable of championing Sabah’s development while stabilizing the state’s political climate.
