Pathankot-based academician Rakesh Mohan Sharma has been invited to attend the 16th International Ibsen Conference, slated to be held in Zurich, Switzerland, from June 25 to 27.
The conference will be held at the University of Zurich. Sharma is the Principal of the GNDU College, Sujanpur.
“The Ibsen conference is a major triennial event dedicated to the life, works and legacy of noted Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. It brings on one platform internationally renowned scholars, theatre personalities, and cultural critics to discuss how his plays are interpreted, staged, and adapted in contemporary media,” said Sharma. His abstract has already been accepted by the International Insen Committee.
