Paul Pogba has left Juventus' tour squad in the USA to return to Italy.
The former Manchester United midfielder has suffered a knee injury and management are now considering the next move.
Gazzetta.it says the decision to go under the knife has been delayed as Juve consider the best course of action.
However, there is a belief that Pogba will eventually need to undergo surgery, which would see him miss the first two months of the new season.
Juve's initial decision was for Pogba to have an operation immediately, but it was eventually agreed to delay surgery to see how he responds to treatment back in Turin.
