Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will meet in the boxing ring tonight, with up to 80,000 fans in attendance in Texas.
Paul, 27, and Tyson, 58, will clash in a divisive fight at the AT&T Stadium – home to NFL’s Dallas Cowboys – as the action streams live on Netflix.
Tyson has not fought professionally in 19 years and had to postpone the original July date, after the heavyweight icon suffered an ulcer flare-up on a flight.
Four months on, he is finally set to fight Paul, who made his name as a YouTuber but has compiled a 10-1 record as a pro boxer, knocking out numerous MMA stars along the way.
While many boxing fans have dismissed this match-up, it may yet draw many eyes to the sport, and it’s set to be a major payday for Paul and Tyson. Here’s all you need to know.
How much are the fighters earning?
While the fight purses have not been officially disclosed, Paul claimed at a press conference in August: “I’m here to make $40m and knock out a legend.”
A $40m sum equates to roughly £31.1m, while Tyson will earn approximately $20m (£15.4m), according to friend and former UFC champion Henry Cejudo.
When is the fight?
The fight will take place tonight, Friday 15 November at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The stadium, with a capacity of 80,000, is the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
The main card started at 1am GMT on Saturday 16 November (5pm PT, 7pm CT, 8pm ET on Friday). Paul vs Tyson ring walks are due to begin at 3:55pm GMT on Saturday (7:55pm PT, 9:55pm CT, 10:55pm ET on Friday), according to the official countdown clock on the Netflix broadcast.
How can I watch it?
Paul vs Tyson will stream live on Netflix in an unprecedented move. The fight will not be on pay-per-view; it will be available to all existing and new subscribers.

What are the rules?
The fight is scheduled for eight two-minute rounds, and knockouts are allowed. Contrary to rumours, the boxers will not wear head guards, although their gloves will weigh 14oz – larger than the standard 10oz versions.
