One of the biggest – but most divisive – fights in years will play out tonight, as Mike Tyson boxes Jake Paul.
The Americans will square off at the Dallas Cowboy’s stadium in Texas, and live on Netflix in a new move for the streaming platform.
The bout has proven controversial due to Tyson’s age and absence from the ring; “Iron Mike” is considered a true heavyweight great, but the 58-year-old hasn’t fought professionally in 19 years. Meanwhile, Paul is much less experienced but has youth on his side at 27, and while some mock his abilities, he has knocked out numerous fighters to go 10-1 as a pro.
While the fight has proven controversial, the undercard will bring a much-desired rematch, as the co-main event pits Katie Taylor against Amanda Serrano. The pair first met in 2022, in the biggest women’s fight ever, with Taylor winning a narrow decision.

When is the main event?
The fight will take place tonight, Friday 15 November at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The stadium, with a capacity of 80,000, is the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.
The main card started at 1am GMT on Saturday 16 November (5pm PT, 7pm CT, 8pm ET on Friday). Paul vs Tyson ring walks are due to begin at 3:55pm GMT on Saturday (7:55pm PT, 9:55pm CT, 10:55pm ET on Friday), according to the official countdown clock on the Netflix broadcast.

While the fight purses have not been officially disclosed, Paul claimed at a press conference in August: “I’m here to make $40m and knock out a legend.” $40m equates to roughly £31.1m, while Tyson will earn approximately $20m (£15.4m), according to friend and former UFC champion Henry Cejudo.
