Benjamin Pavard was happy to make his Inter Milan debut at Real Sociedad.
Inter came away from San Sebastian with a 1-1 draw in their opening Champions Leage group clash.
Former Bayern Munich defender Pavard said afterwards: "We didn't play a good match but the most important thing is not to have lost.
"We expected a tough match and that's what happened. We all suffered together but the important thing is not to have lost this match. Now we we'll get to work straight away for the next games.
"I am very happy to have played my first match with Inter, a great club.
"I would have preferred to win it but I will have other opportunities to celebrate with the fans."
