KOTA KINABALU: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Deputy President Datuk Sri Panglima Jahid Jahim has denied allegations published by Malaysiakini accusing him of receiving RM150,000 in bribes linked to a mining scandal.
Describing the report as baseless, Jahid clarified that his ministry is not involved in mining license approvals and no such licenses have been issued in his Tamparuli constituency.
He criticised the media outlet for allegedly creating a false corruption narrative without due process, echoing similar concerns raised by STAR President Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan.
