He also denied claims of gunfire and the discovery of two bullet casings as circulated on social media.

The arrests led to the seizure of a pistol, suspected to be a replica, from one of the suspects. Twelve witnesses were interviewed and confirmed that no actual gunshots were fired during the incident.

The fight allegedly started because of a disagreement over the song selection

According to BERNAMA, the misunderstanding allegedly occurred over dissatisfaction with the song selection, involving the four individuals reportedly under the influence of alcohol.

The investigation is being conducted under Section 36 of the Arms Act 1960 for possession and import of imitation firearms, Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation, and Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting.
