The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is actively searching for the driver of a Perodua Axia involved in a hit-and-run incident that left a traffic officer injured while on duty along Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra last Friday (10 April).

Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa, stated that the incident occurred at approximately 10:47 PM. As a result of the crash, Constable Roslan sustained injuries, including wounds to his right palm, trauma to the back of his head, and pain in his ribs. He was promptly transported to Hospital Kuala Lumpur by an ambulance from the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM) for further medical treatment.
