Former Newcastle United defender Stuart Pearce has questioned their deal for Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak.
The Swede is joining Newcastle in a £60m deal.
Pearce told talkSPORT: "I have seen a lot of Isak when I looked at potential targets.
"He has been okay, he is good-natured.
"For that money, I'm not sure. I have to be convinced of that."
Pearce left West Ham as assistant manager this summer.
