El Chiringuito host Josep Pedrerol says Real Madrid cannot have any complaints about the manner of Barcelona's win last night.
Barca won the first-leg of their Copa del Rey semifinal at the Santiago Bernabeu 1-0.
Pedrerol, who is close to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, stated in the aftermath: "Xavi spoke of special football, of almost galactic football, of the non-negotiable style, but sometimes you have to play like Bara played at the Bernabeu.
"The objective of football is to win and it is also worthwhile to win defending.
"You defend well, you score a goal and you take the lead in the tie.
"It was important to win at the Bernab at a difficult time because Xavi had just lost in the Europa League and in Almera.
"Imagine what would have happened if Bara had lost at the Bernab. What would have been said about Xavi's project?
"Bara won without the DNA of 'we are different'. They won with the DNA of Simeone, of the catenaccio... the DNA that sometimes even Real Madrid applies."
