Kota Kinabalu: Businessman Dato Roman Lo may be one of GTA’s 20 candidates in Sabah in next month’s GE15.
Gerakan Tanah Air Chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad would decide the candidates who will be announced during a gathering at a resort here this weekend.
“Mahathir himself will announce the official candidates,” said a source.
Roman, who is the director/vice-president of JNJ Consortium Group of Companies, neither denied nor confirmed the speculation.
The businessman-turned-politician was former deputy chairman of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Kota Kinabalu branch (2008-2920) and an election candidate for Api-Api state seat in 2020.
