Kota Kinabalu: The Penampang Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) will host its 2024 Lunar New Year Open House on Feb 18 this year.
The event will be taking place at the Ground Floor of PCCCI Building, Penampang from 10am to 1pm. Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives of Malaysia, Datuk Ewon Benedick is the Guest of Honour.
PCCCI President, Victor Kou, said he looks forward to the participation of businesses from various sectors and for a unique experience in welcoming the Lunar New Year.
He said PCCCI will give out the ‘ang pow’ to members aged 75 and above in which those over 90 will receive a sum of RM200 and RM1,000 for centenarian members.

Organising Chairperson, An Wong, said the planning team had also prepared a series of entertainment, including lion and dragon dance performances as well as ‘ang pow’ for children.
