Former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa is still searching for a new club.
Diego Costa has held talks with Getafe in Spain and also Cruz Azul in Mexico.
The Spain international has been a free agent since leaving Atletico Mineiro last season.
Uruguay's Penarol have now expressed interest in the veteran.
The club's president Ignacio Ruglio said, “In the next few days we will have to appeal to players free with whom we are already talking too."
