- The Pentagon has published a full-resolution image of China's top-secret Shenlong spacecraft in a new report on space threats.
- Captured by American firm Vantor, the uncrewed winged vehicle resembles the US Space Force's X-37B and features cargo bay doors for satellite deployment.
- Shenlong has completed four known orbital missions since 2020, with its most recent launch occurring in February and flights typically lasting around nine months.
- The Defense Intelligence Agency report details Chinese space weapon developments, such as directed-energy lasers, though no evidence suggests Shenlong itself is armed.
- The report also warns of Russian efforts to develop a satellite designed to carry a nuclear weapon.
