Nicolas Pepe is reluctant to take a cut on his Arsenal wages to get a move away.

The Ivorian is open to an exit from the club this summer and with all parties seemingly in agreement regarding his future, the Gunners are now openly seeking potential suitors for Pepe, says PA Sport.

However, due to his high wages, a season-long loan move away from the club is the most likely outcome this summer, with Spain rumoured to be a possible destination for the 27-year-old as things stand.

However, he has also been linked with Newcastle United this summer.

Pepe has spent three seasons at the Emirates Stadium, in which he has failed to really hit the heights following his transfer from Lille in 2019 for a club-record fee of £72m.
