The famous Peppa Pig is about to get a new sibling!
Peppa Pig, an animated television character that has become famous among children for her love of jumping up and down in muddy puddles, made an announcement (by Peppa’s mother—Morwenna Banks) that they’ll have a new baby in the family soon.
The show tells the story of Peppa and her family, Daddy Pig, Mummy Pig, and younger brother George, who loves his toy dinosaur.
Now after two decades, life is about to change for Peppa and George, with the arrival of a new sibling, later this year.
“I’m excited to share that our family is getting bigger because we’re having another baby. I’m due in the summer, and we’re all so excited,” said Mummy Pig during a special segment on Good Morning Britain.
Mummy Pig also said that Peppa and George occasionally wobbled and worried about the new addition, but everyone’s mostly excited.
“Every day they ask me how big the baby is. When is it coming? Does it like dinosaurs and muddy puddles? It never stops,” she added.
Mummy Pig is due to announce her pregnancy in the final episode of the current season, which will air on March 30, coinciding with Mother’s Day.
