IPOH, Nov 4 — Several villages in Bukit Gantang, Taiping were hit by flash floods this evening.
A Perak Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the department was first alerted of the incident at 5.39pm.
He said 50 villagers from Kampung Cheh, Kampung Senduk Hulu, Kampung Bukit Cempedak and Kampung Changkat Ibol were affected.
He said a number of victims opted to seek shelter at the homes of family and friends in neighbouring areas. — Bernama
