KUALA LUMPUR – Perikatan Nasional (PN) ministers have sent a letter to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah to oppose an immediate dissolution of Parliament, which would pave the way for the 15th general election to be held this year.
A high-ranking Bersatu lawmaker has confirmed that all 12 PN cabinet members from the party and PAS have signed the letter.
“All PAS and Bersatu leaders have reached a consensus where they disagree on the elections being held this year,” the leader, who spoke under the condition of anonymity, said. – The Vibes, October 6, 2022
