Phased Handover Across Hulu Selangor and KLIA Districts

The vehicle rollout to the Selangor police force was conducted across two phases this year:

  • First Delivery: The initiative kicked off in April, with the initial three units of the Perodua Ativa handed over directly to IPD Hulu Selangor to assist patrol and administrative duties around the district.
  • Second Handover in Kuala Kubu Bharu: The remaining six vehicles were officially delivered during a handover ceremony held in Kuala Kubu Bharu on 12 October 2026.

Selangor Chief of Police Dato’ Pahlawan Shazeli Dato’ Kahar was on hand to receive the mock vehicle keys from Dato’ Sri Zainal, symbolizing the long-term partnership between the national automaker and the state police contingent.

Growing CSR Fleet: 21 Vehicles Donated to Selangor Police Since 2019

Perodua’s automotive assistance to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) in Selangor has been building over several years. Since 2019, the compact car company has contributed a total of 21 vehicles to various district police headquarters across Selangor.

The latest fleet addition follows several previous donation rounds:

  • Two units of the Perodua Bezza handed over in 2019.
  • Four units of the Perodua Myvi delivered in 2022.
  • Six units encompassing assorted Perodua models contributed in 2024.

With the addition of the higher-riding Ativa and the rear-wheel-drive, ladder-frame Aruz, personnel operating across Hulu Selangor and the KLIA airport transit hub receive versatile utility vehicles suited for both dense suburban rounds and challenging terrain across the district.
