
Kota Kinabalu: As the Sabah Electricity Association (PES) celebrates its 25th anniversary, its President Lawrence Yapp, encouraged members to leverage on technology to increase efficiency in the delivery of projects, so they can stay ahead amid rapid changes.
“The pace of change is ever faster and driven by technological advancement. I encourage that we embrace not only to keep the pace, but to strive ahead, learn and utilise the technologies to facilitate our electrical trades and skills.”
He said in his speech during the association’s Silver Jubilee luncheon celebration at Hakka Hall, here, Sunday. The celebration was attended by some 800 guests, comprising engineers, manufacturers, suppliers, developers and contractors.
