MANILA, Philippines — The peso has sunk to a new all-time low, closing at P60.55 against the dollar on Friday.
The Friday figures also reflected a 32-centavo loss from the previous session's P60.23:$1 and replaced the previous historic low of P60.3:$1 recorded last Monday.
The peso-dollar exchange opened trading at P60.333:$1 and ranged from P60.285:$1 to P60.57:$1, with the volume reaching 1.33594 billion, higher than the P1.1696 billion trading volume recorded during the previous session.
