Kota Kinabalu: Petronas is supportive of Sabah’s conservation efforts as seen at the Imbak Canyon Studies Centre which can be promoted as utilising natural history for modern breakthroughs.
Thousands of people, local and foreigners from all walks of life, thronged the Petronas Energy Asia Exhibition 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from June 26 to 28.
Visitors learnt that Petronas is Southeast Asia’s first energy company that has committed to Net Zero Carbon Emissions (NZCE) by 2050.
In Sabah, Petronas funds the gene bank for the conservation and exploration of pharmaceutical and biotech application of indigenous plants at the Imbak Canyon Studies Centre.
