Former Roma defender Fabio Petruzzi says his old club should forget about signing Leonardo Bonucci.
The former Juventus defender is being linked with Roma after six months in Germany with Mainz.
Petruzzi told TMW Radio: "The years pass for everyone.
"Bonucci a few years ago would have been very useful for Roma, he is the prototype of a player that (Jose) Mourinho likes.
"But he's a risky choice in an environment that has regrouped, it would not be easy to insert him."
