PH food exporters join Asian F&B event

TWELVE Philippine food manufacturers are joining the Food & Hospitality Asia (FHA) 2026 in Singapore, the Department of Trade and Industry-Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB) said over the weekend.

The event, regarded as Asia’s premier food and beverage and hospitality trade show, runs April 21 to 24 at the Singapore Expo in Changi Business Park.

First held in 1979, the fair connects with decision-makers, showcases innovations, and taps into demand fueled by tourism, culinary exploration, and digital transformation.

It brings together the food and beverage, hotel, restaurant, catering and alcohol industries under one platform.

It will span 10 halls at Singapore Expo, with over 2,750 exhibitors from over 115 countries and regions.

The Filipino exhibitors are Bahaghari Global Food, Cattleya & Rose Gourmet Foods Trading (Sagana), Cocoplus Aquarian Development Corp., Fruits of Life, Global Foodsolutions, Jamla Corp., KKK Food Corp., Pasciolco Agri Ventures, Tongsan Industrial Development Corp., Wellnesscare Int’l Corp., Pili Crush, and Verra Coffee.

They will occupy Philippine Pavilion Hall 6, Booth 6D2-07, showcasing a mix of mainstream and specialty products aligned with current market demand in Singapore and the wider region.

“Many of the participating firms are halal-ready established exporters with existing international certifications and are looking to expand further into Southeast Asia,” DTI said. “[They will offer] natural and functional food products, coconut-based ingredients, sauces and condiments, snack items, and specialty beverages.”

The Asia-Pacific region’s food and beverage market is projected to surpass $3.3 trillion by 2034, while the hospitality sector is seen to be worth $181.2 billion by 2029.

The Philippines’ total export revenue as of February 2026 was $14.47 billion, an 8.3-percent increase from the same period last year, marking the highest export level for the first two months since 1991, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority.

The country’s participation at FHA was a collaboration between DTI-EMB and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Singapore.
