Phillip Schofield insists he “doesn’t care anymore” off the back of media outrage over a string of controversies attached to him - from queuegate, to the affair with a younger colleague that saw him struck off from This Morning.
In his first return to TV, Schofield is appearing on Cast Away, leaving him trapped on a desert island with nothing but filming equipment.
“I’ll be slammed for this...but the thing is, I don’t care anymore”, he tells the camera, retelling the story of his media downfall.
“This is me having my say as I bow out.”
